EGGS

Chicken eggs are toxic for humans in the manner of all animal products.
First, they are made up of animal protein, saturated fat, and cholesterol,
all three of which clog arteries, acidify blood and tissues, impair
the immune system, and stress the body in a variety of ways. Eggs, in fact, are the most concentrated packets of cholesterol available in supermarkets. Second, eggs concentrate noxious pesticide, chemical, hormonal, and bacterial residue. Third, eating eggs is eating the vibrations of misery.

The Myth of Human Predation

The first response to this objection is to questionits basic validity. The fact that we’ve been doing something along time hardly makes it right or appropriate. The same defense of human slavery was used here in the nineteenth century.War, genocide, murder, rape, and human exploitation have been going on a longtime as well, but we would never dare to use their longevity to justify them.
The second response to this objection is to question its veracity. What is a “long time”? The ten thousand years we’ve been herding and co modifying animals and the twenty to sixty thousand years we’vebeen hunting large animals. These are very short compared to the three hundred thousand years homo sapiens has been here and the seven to tenmillion years that hominids have been here. Our closest living relatives, supposedly sharing ninety-five to ninety-eight percent of our DNA, are gorillas, bonobos, and chimpanzees. The powerful and gentle gorillaseat a totally plant-based diet, as do bonobos, and chimpanzees eat a primarilyplant-based diet. Our own ancient forebears were probably similar, given our physiology, and according to fossil evidence of such earlyhumans as Australopithecus, plant foods made up virtually all of their diet.
The problem has been that our culture has fostered its own “manthe predator” mythology, based on and justifying our eating of animals, propagating the erroneous notion that, as Swiss zoologist C. Guggisbergwrote in 1970, “man has been a predator and ruthless killer for as long as he has existed.” !!!!!!!!Yak!!!!!!!!!

Friends Forever?

How r u !
R u gone very far?
Not even once u met me.
Its almost been a year.
Never thought u would forget me.
Oh my dear where u are?
R u gone very far?

No call not even a miss.
Never thought it would happen like this.
But for u bliss is what I always wish,
Now I understood why they call u Miss.
Today , tomorrow or yesterday,
I waited for u day by day.
Will we meet ever,
Question I ask !
Are we really friends forever?

Dedicated to Sohita Sharma

Obliged forever

They preached this is a mirage and everyone is mean,
U entered & expound the what friend really means.
Never met new people but the list is vast,
Always inside I felt I knew u from very past.
Though the world is fast & life is short,
I wish together we never get lost
No matter how stuck im and how things go fussy,
But for u its never too far never too busy.
Not rich by heart but richest by heart,
Cause that is the place u deserve the best.
For all the faith and support during the worst of me ,
Oh my dear friend ,
Choked in gratitude and obliged forever,
Im for u in the best of me.

Varanasi – The city in orange

Recently I had a golden chance to visit the city of God i.e. Varanasi on the occasion of Dr. Ganga Sahai Pandey Memorial Lecture & Prize Distribution Ceremony of All India Essay Writing Competiton by Vishwa Ayurved Parishad.

Almost 2 day journey by train from Chandigarh. The grace spreaded in the air gently welcomed me as I touched the holy land. Always heard a lot about Banaras and B.H.U but what I experienced there was far much more than all of that. People there are true to heart , innocent , and with orange oral cavity (Due to famous banarasi paan). There are temples painted orange at every 100 meter distance. Every inch of space is filled with humility, truthfulness, & faith. I was wondering how & why, so much divinity is present here & suddenly Dr. K.K. Dwivedi visited me & offered me to accompany with him to the Great Kashinath temple and, this is it, the fullstop to all the search and wanderings of the curious mind. They say you become like  that whom you love the most and this was why the innocence and intelligence of Lord Shiva was clearly reflected in everyone. Just in the first visit I also started loving him more than ever and felt the bond to be tied more strongly.

During my 2 day stay I also had the golden opportunity to visit B.H.U – Banaras Hindu University, well designed, spreaded over an area of 15sq Km, full fledged Ayurvedic and Allopathic hospitals, Marvellous Birla temple and distinctly marked departments with the topmost brains of the country. I went to boys hostel and interacted with 3RD prof Ayurved students, they were interactive and welcoming. Special thanks to Dr. Brijesh Yadav for Samosa party. Another new friend Vijay from 2nd prof  showed me the Dravya Guna Department and herbal garden. His humility and intelligence deeply impressed me. Later I met my Pathology teacher Dr. Sarvesh Dubey and he showed me the whole B.H.U campus and the Birla Temple in it. He is indeed the purest soul I have ever met, simple, intelligent, a great teacher and a gem person. Experiencing him is always been a great experience itself. He also took me to the Ayurvedic hospital and provided me the golden opportunity of meeting the former N.I.A Jaipur Vice Chairman Prof. Ram Harsh Singh, who blessed me for my bright future and added in the glory of B.H.U by saying that “One can even become knowledge full by wandering on the roads of B.H.U for a considerable time.”

Going to the Lord Kashinath with the Gurujan was the biggest blessing I acknowledged there. My throat chokes with this great feeling of gratitude for Diwedi sir and Sarvesh sir.

The function was profound and left a great and significant mark. The guest of honour Prof. P.V. Tewari is a remarkable personality. She emphasized on the importance of practical Ayurvedic teachings and how the ancient wisdom holds the key for Health For All UN mission. The stage was handled by Dr. K.K. Diwedi , he is indeed an excellent speaker. I was honoured with bronze medal by renowned Cardiologist Prof. T.K. Lahri. The credit of this glory and respect goes to Dr. Sumit Srivastav who told me to add headings in the essay & Dr. Aruna Katoch who actually proposed the headings.

As a student of Ayurved this honourable event was the true source of inspiration and a proud statement to me. Thank you is infact a small word but still my heartiest thanks to the Vishwa Ayurved Parishad.

Jai Bhole Naath. Jai Ganga Maiya.

O.T.A

17th September 2010

World’s second toughest military academy and my first childhood best friend Mani dared to pass the 11 months vigorous training and become lieutenant of  prestigious Indian Army. His innermost wish to share his most memorable & honorable moment led me & Tarun to go to Chennai to see him becoming a military officer. His P.O.P ( Passing Out Parade ) was as usual filled with discipline and extraordinare wonderful coordination. New officers were marching with pride of nation on their shoulders. The sparkling eyes of the shining young officers of the Indian army displayed the inner joy and respect for their beloved country. The most delightful moment for all the passing cadets was to cross the aantim pag , The Last Step. Although most of the cadets tripped over the smooth and shiny surface of  it but the responsible smile on their faces easily made us believe that when time will come they will shield us like the greater Himalaya.

Bharat ke hum jawan,

Parwat ke hain saman,

Even the air in the academy was filled with deep love, joy, respect, gratitude & patriotism. When the young Indian Army officers took the oath , even to give their life for the nation, no one in the crowd could hold the tears of gratitude and joy. The putting of  the stars on the shoulders of their stars was indeed the proudest and most exhilarating  moment  for the parents.

Chennai is a beautiful place specially its railway station and beaches except for its rotting wet lands. We were very short of time but still we managed to see Mahabalipuram and Marina beach (the longest Asian beach). I bought few spices for mummy and shankh for papa as per their criteria for sending me. Journey made its mark and will be remembered till the end of   THE JOURNEY.                                                                                                                     Thank you lord, thank you  Lt.Manish Kumar Toor.

Oh yes one last thing Mani booked 3star hotel for us. :-)

 TEACHERS DAY CELEBRATIONS ‘10’

6th September 2010 , S.D.A.C , Chandigarh .

Lucky, amisha, Garima, Suchi, Kimia, Shalini, Aakriti, Dr.Ashish, Sandeep, Gaurav, Ajay, Yashu, Priyanka, Raakhi, Eva,Kanchan, Kusum & countless more , enthusiastic and energetic Dhanwantrians worked hard to state their feelings of love and respect for the teachers. The college auditorium ( Audi ) was shining like a new AUDI Q7. The posters, flowers, ribbon papers, ballons e  tc just gave the wow look to the dusty and incompletely built Audi. Hat’s off to the decoration team (Eva & seniors).

After coming at 1.30 in night from Audi the observer inside me regained its consciousness at 6.30 in the morning in boys p.g. (3133) with the buzziest headache in my occipital notch. Suddenly i realized that the Audi must get opened by 7, so i rushed to college after that again went to 3133p.g. , did kriya with Lucky and Ravi, after that Guru Pooja (Happy teachers Day) J .

The function went great, lucky and his dashing personality rocked the stage, Amisha was looking very pretty & sweet. Guess what Suchi also appreciated Lucky’s stage handling by saying “love u lucky”. The flex made by Munish just added the perfect look, overwhelmed President Sir announced 11,000 Rs for the students for organising the event. We honoured Vishnu sir with ‘The most popular teacher award 2010’.

I still remember how all it started –“Oye kuch karna hai teachers day pe” and the things started to fall in place. We were given initial budget of 2000 Rs from the college and 5 days to roll on the dice.Hat’s off  to Priyanka, Suchi, Yashu & Promila. Cutting every cost, bargaining everywhere , even for 10 Rs . We experienced the agony of least budget and the miseriest approach.

I also cant forget the choking dust of the stage faced by Aakriti and all whike cleaning it. By just looking at the way they were wiping the floor one can easily add ‘Family’ in front of ‘Dhanwantrians’ and im proud to be a part of this family.

The grace and love of our teachers was the only fuel which made us keep going through all odds. Truly and amazingly the mike and speakers worked properly till the end with negligible glitches and as soon as the last performance got over the whole system crashed. It looked like as something was holding them back from making the creepiest noise ever.

The love and support of all the fantastic & wonderful brother’s and sister’s like friend’s  was & is  the most memorable memory imprinted in me forever.

Yoga as experienced by me

I heard of yoga in seventh class accidently from my math’s teacher  thereby meaning addition. As i grew up i read in books that it also means the union of aatma with paramatma. This definition looks short but is not simple. Some authors describe it with some good stretching poses while some describes it with some spiritual philosophical knowledge. Like most i was also stuck between the two. Later with the Guru grace only i realized the truth.

Yoga is neither some poses nor some spiritual knowledge but a combination of both, however either of them is not the goal. Ashtang yoga starts with yama and ends at Samadhi. Thus it is very much clear that the last step of yoga is to achieve Samadhi. However u cannot do anything to get Samadhi. Not doing anything is Samadhi, it’s a happening. When activity of mind ceases or slows down then Samadhi happens and it happens truly through His grace only.

I observed all the pictures of God and i found none other than Lord Shiva rapped in meditation all the time. His actions represents the innocence and his dance represents the joy (masti) in him. He is considered as the only God who drank all the poision and holds the great Ganga. Thus innocence, joy, the power to drink all the negative emotions, thoughts & to hold the ultimate knowledge, these all things come as a fruit of Samadhi.

Like u can never completely explain sour until u taste it yourself, similarily no words can ever explain Samadhi until u yourself experience it. Wake up and explore yourself this aspect of life. Jai Gurudev.
